I am now a better, happier, healthier version of myself
I had my doubts & concerns about teletherapy, but working with Babita has completely changed my view on the effectiveness of it. From the very first consultation session I had with Babita, I knew she was the right therapist/coach for me. If you’re looking for someone that is there to just listen, I’m sure you can find plenty of others out there. But what I most appreciated about working with Babita was in the types of questions she asked me, the reframing she helped me with, the articles & reading materials that she shared with me in advance of the sessions that opened up many more doors for our discussions and what felt like a two-way relationship. It’s not just you talking nor is it just her talking. It often feels more like a coaching session than what some may see as an intimidating “therapy” session. I didn’t work with Babita because something was wrong with me, I worked with Babita because I wanted to work on becoming a better version of myself in all the roles I play in my life.
I can honestly and confidently say that my sessions with Babita have helped me become a better, healthier and happier version of myself. Therapy/coaching takes a lot of courage and hard work. It takes a lot of introspection, re-wiring of habits and old thought patterns and sitting in the discomfort. What Babita helped me recognize is that I cannot show up as the best version of myself if I do not prioritize my own self. Setting healthy boundaries, acknowledging that taking care of myself is not “selfish” and being able to have a better pulse on “how am I feeling today?” have all been incredibly helpful tools that I was able to walk away with from our sessions over the last 3-4 months.
Babita’s Corporate Background Made A Difference
With Babita’s background working as an executive in corporate America, I found it incredibly helpful to be able to talk to her about some of the challenges & struggles I was facing in my own career. She understood exactly what the pain points were and was able to relate to me. I found this to be a very unique added benefit of having a therapist who “got me”.
